BWM Designers & Architects x The Hoxton, New Pearl in Vienna

Vienna welcomes a new gem to its hotel scene: The Hoxton. Designed by BWM Designers & Architects, it boasts a total of 196 rooms inspired by 1950s architecture, combining Austrian design, geometric lines and bold furnishings. “We want to preserve post-war architecture for future generations,” says Markus Kaplan of BWM. And so the square in front of The Hoxton has been redesigned to recreate the atmosphere of the past. On the ground floor, the 190 m2 two-story lobby welcomes guests and features aluminum railings that retain the charm of the era. The Apartment, a meeting and event room, is a perfect mix of classic café culture and the atmosphere of a traditional Austrian restaurant. The auditorium with balcony offers 300 m2 of space, complete with a DJ booth.

One of the pearls of the entire project is on the top floor of the hotel: thanks to the new rooftop bar, the outdoor pool and the Bouvier bistro. From here, guests can enjoy a splendid view of Vienna, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Stadtpark. In short, total seduction (photo: Julius Hirtzberger and Ana Barros).
