Behold, standing before your astonished eyes, is the latest “decor” sensation in the South of France. Bernard Dubois, the architect renowned for his shop designs (notably for Aesop), has signed his very first hotel. The decor is vintage, of course, though far more subtle than his previous works, and we have seen plenty in recent years. There’s something reminiscent of Palm Springs, but we’re not quite sure what. Perhaps it’s the roughcast on the walls? It’s a far cry from the ceramics hanging on the walls or the Italian rope-crafted summer lounges. Subtle and avant-garde, we praise the Adresse group for believing in this bold vision.
