For over 50 years, the Brassus Manufacture has made the most of the Royal Oak’s octogonal shape without ever really convincing with other geometries. However, by delving into its rich archives, the brand has found an extremely interesting design from 1960, reference 5159BA. Behind this codename is an asymmetrical watch with an angular dial and a refined star-shaped design that makes us think of a sundial. The result is a fine design object limited to 250 pieces with proportions that fit the vintage aesthetic criteria, and with a beautifully crafted automatic mechanism. A rose-gold case with beige accents and a navy-blue dial complete this delightful tribute to brutalism.
