Aquazzura x Hotel de Russie: a New Bar Blending Style and Mediterranean Flair

Aquazzura makes its debut in the world of hospitality with an exclusive project: the first Aquazzura Bar, created in partnership with the iconic Hotel de Russie in Rome, part of the Rocco Forte group. The initiative celebrates the hotel’s 25th anniversary and acts as a natural extension of the refined universe envisioned by Edgardo Osorio.

Set in the historic garden designed by Giuseppe Valadier, the space stands out for its attention to detail and elegance. Designed by the Portuguese studio Casa do Passadiço, the bar draws inspiration from Aquazzura Casa’s Secret Garden porcelain collection. Botanical patterns in shades of green dominate, while a playful contrast of prints sets the tone: black and white stripes on the outside, vibrant florals inside.

The setting is enriched with hand-painted Portuguese tiles featuring lemon motifs as a nod to Italian citrus fruits, custom-made wrought iron furniture, plush seating, and striped vases filled with lemons. The result is a Mediterranean greenhouse turned lounge—welcoming, vibrant, and full of character.
