Meryll Rogge

Born and raised in the Flemish city of Ghent, Meryll Rogge is a Belgian fashion designer whose eponymous label is making its name in the contemporary scene. After making a pact with her parents, who disapproved of her pursuing a career in fashion, she first studied law at the Université Notre Dame de la Paix in Namur. Once she completed her degree, she enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where she studied under none other than Walter Van Beirendonck. Rogge later landed a summer internship at Marc Jacobs in New York, which turned into a seven-year tenure. Back in Antwerp, she joined Dries Van Noten, where she was head of design of the women’s collections for four years. After a gap year,  Meryll Rogge finally leapt and launched her eponymous label for fall 2020. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, her talent quickly caught the attention of buyers and the industry at large. Her label rapidly gained recognition: she was a semi-finalist for the 2022 LVMH Prize, named Designer of the Year at the 2024 Belgian Fashion Awards, and awarded the Grand Prix at the 2025 ANDAM awards. Just weeks after receiving the latter, Meryll Rogge was appointed Creative Director of Marni.
