Born and raised in Britanny, Julien Dossena quickly made a name for himself in the French capital. After training at École Duperré, a public college of art and design in Paris, he obtained his fashion diploma from the prestigious La Cambre school. In 2006, while still a student, Dossena was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Hyères International Fashion Festival. He pursued his career by joining the team of Maison Balenciaga, then run by Nicolas Ghesquières, and was appointed head of Paco Rabanne in 2013. Over 10 years have passed, and Julien Dossena keeps on honouring the legacy of the house, infusing an innovative and liberating spirit into the iconic metallic silhouettes of the House’s late designer.
