#art

German photographer Juergen Teller (born in Erlangen, in 1964) has made a name for himself by challenging the codes of fashion photography. His emblematic style, best epitomized by an unapologetic and raw blend of trash style, humour and glamour, has gained Teller international recognition. Throughout his career, which debuted in the late 1980s, the German photographer has immortalized some of the most prominent names of our times, including Kate Moss, Iggy, Kurt Cobain and Björk, to name but a few. Whether it’s a commissioned campaign, an editorial or a personal project, Teller’s photographs have a distinctive and magnetic appeal to them that is sure to catch our eye. His most recent exhibition is “i need to live”, a retrospective running at the Grand Palais (Paris) from 16 December 2023 to 9 January 2024.
