Charlotte Chesnais is a rising star in the French jewelry design industry, known for her unique and unexpected creations that blur the lines between jewelry and sculpture. Chesnais discovered her true passion while working as a ready-to-wear designer at Balenciaga under the mentorship of Nicolas Ghesquière, who entrusted her with the task of designing the brand’s first jewelry line. After gaining invaluable experience, she went on to design jewelry collections for prestigious brands such as Kenzo and Paco Rabanne, and her success paved the way for her to launch her own eponymous jewelry brand in 2015. Committed to quality craftsmanship, Chesnais works exclusively with French artisanal workshops, utilizing precious metals like 18-carat gold, silver, and vermeil to create her pieces. Her collections, characterized by their minimalist yet organic and irregular lines, have since gained widespread recognition, earning her the prestigious ANDAM Accessories Prize just six months after the brand’s inception.
