Young International Artists – YIA for the Intimate – has now become an essential part of the Art Week. This year, Young International Artists – YIA for the Intimate – moved to Le Carreau du Temple for a rich programme around the works presented by the sixty galleries that make up its catalogue, as well as a series of debates, meetings and conferences, and also an off-wall tour highlighting works of art, performances and projections.Political or thought challenges, contemporary and global issues, these privileged moments of discussion organized by YIA and ARTE were an opportunity to cross look at the perspectives. Outside the walls, it was surrounded by a particularly ambitious exhibition curator Marion Zilio, the new artistic director of YIA, who proposed a strong journey of new experiences. Among the highlights of the edition, the exhibition’s sponsor, the artist Mounir Fatmi, presents a major curatorial project at the National Archives with “Pavillon de l’ exil. First stopover%u201D.
