As Paris is still feeling dizzy from Fashion Week, here’s one event that felt like the perfect recovery method. In their Rue Cambon boutique, Yohji Yamamoto presents until October 27 an exhibition by photographer Leslie Kee. Displayed on the boutique’s two floors, the installation highlights Mr. Yamamoto’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection’s main themes : cubism, and a tribute to his late friend Azzedine Alaïa. Yamamoto selected 11 large-scale photographes from a coffee table book inspired by the collection (which, just like a clothing line, the designers thought up down to the last detail). That evening, the brand had invited friends and journalists to discover the exhibition (and have a look at the beautiful clothes), as well as browse through the book designed by Tsuguya Inoue.
