Yarol Poupaud Electrifies the Prix de Flore
If there is one place that truly embodies the essence of the iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, it is the Café de Flore. Frederic Beigbeder, founder of the literature prize Prix de Flore couldn’t agree more, and so he has established the venue as the place where the award ceremony takes place every year. Orchestrated with the help of co-founder Carole Chrétiennot, the event gathers artists, performers, journalists, and figures from the editorial milieu. For this edition, in order to celebrate the announcement of the laureate Joffrine Donadieu, the novelist invoked Yarol Poupaud’s electric guitar. His legendary guitar riffs heated up the distinguished party of connoisseurs, making Eva Ionesco, Alice Aufray, and Emmanuel Perrotin dance.
