When Art Meets Fashion, Courtesy of KidSuper
It was on every fashionista’s agenda, January 25th marked KidSuper’s turn to take the stage at Paris Men’s Fashion Week. The American fashion designer did not disappoint. Colm Dillane put on an eclectic and captivating show at the Grande Halle de La Villette to present his Autumn-Winter 25/26 collection, ‘From a Place I Have Never Been’.
Blending fashion, performance and art, Colm Dillane orchestrated more than just a fashion show, but a unique visual and sensory experience. To create the scenography, the designer teamed with Brooklyn-based artist Daniel Wurtzel, renowned for his aerial kinetic sculptures, who created an immersive installation. Combining fluidity, layering and experimentation, the installation embodied the designer’s aesthetic vision all while highlighting the 49 looks that make up the collection.
KidSuper has also forged some exciting partnerships this season. The label unveiled an exclusive capsule with iconic Japanese brand BAPE, as well as collaborations with WILDSIDE, Yohji Yamamoto, HAMCUS and PIET. These creative alliances further establish KidSuper’s identity and open vision, a blend of assertive streetwear and traditional craftsmanship.
The show was rounded off by Ekaterina Shelehova’s touching performance, which echoed the themes of vulnerability and transformation that lie at the heart of the collection. Some of the guests in attendance were J Balvin, Djibril Cissé, Camélia Jordana, Ty Dolla $ign, Fuerza Regida, French Montana and Ozuna.
