Welcome to the Gommino Club by Tod’s
Like any well-respected club, Tod’s has its address in an (almost) secret location deep in the heart of Milan, where its distinguished guests can step into a parallel reality. Led by creative director Matteo Tamburini, the brand unveiled its Spring-Summer 2026 menswear collection in the lush garden of Villa Necchi Campiglio, at an exclusive yet relaxed gathering of modern gentlemen.
The men’s collection draws inspiration from leisure and outdoor living, expressed through soft, airy garments crafted from materials such as linen, suede, and silk. Clean lines pair with relaxed outfits, such as the Pashmy suit, made up of an unstructured three-pocket jacket and softly tailored, straight-leg trousers. Rendered in a red earth tone chosen by Tod’s as the symbolic color of the Spring-Summer 2026 collection, the suit evokes the feeling of a sunset and reflects Tamburini’s research, inspired by Josef Albers’ colour studies.
Accessories in the new collection stand out for their clean, user-friendly designs, such as the new Tod’s Meda shoulder bag, which features a soft and rounded shape in black leather, or the Greca belt, combining rope and leather. Needless to say, Tod’s signature classics also make their appearance, highlighting the brand’s craftsmanship, like the Di Bag Folio or the sneakers and loafers featuring the iconic Gommino pebble sole. To quote Matteo Tamburini: “The silhouettes reflect a sense of balanced comfort. Each piece has a calibrated functionality a sort of relaxed tailoring style with a touch of sportiness.”
Among the guests at the Gommino Club were Cooper Koch, Joe Alwyn, Diego Della Valle, Lennon Gallagher, Stefano Accorsi and Bianca Vitali, Marco Fantini, Mattia Stanga, Sebastiano Pigazzi and Alberto Rossi.
