An evening with Virginie Efira and Paul Verhoeven in Cannes

The first days of the 74th Cannes Film Festival have already offered some beautiful moments of cinema. After the red carpet for François Ozon’s film “Tout s’est bien passé” with Sophie Marceau and André Dussollier, and the dazzling Camille Cottin and Matt Damon duo, reunited for “Stillwater” by Tom McCarthy, the fourth day of the festival honored two films. “La Fracture” by Catherine Corsini with Marina Foïs, Valérie Bruni-Tedeschi and Pio Marmai, and the much anticipated “Benedetta” by Paul Verhoeven, which tells the scandalous story of a lesbian nun (played by Virginie Efira) in 17th century Italy. Three years after production, the film was finally presented to the public after several forced delays. The actress and the director of “Total Recall” or “Elle” met again after their red carpet moment on the Terrasse by Albane for a private dinner at Restaurant Loulou. It was the opportunity to put a spotlight on two evenings at the Lounge of the terrace in the company of Marion Cotillard, Josephine Japy, Benoît Magimel and Tahar Rahim.
