Vernissages Paulin Paulin Paulin, Hernan Bas and Gianni Motti

Between two towers of the Grand Palais, art met at the welcoming Perrotin to discover the gallery’s three new exhibitions, devoted to Gianni Motti, Hernan Bas and Pierre Paulin.

For his second exhibition at the Galerie Perrotin, Gianni Motti has designed a new and unique project – composed of barbed wire and razor blades – which occupies the three rooms of the Espace St Claude, with the elusive title”Draft. Other artist varnished Thursday 22, Hernan Bas unveiled his brand new figurative pictorial series. A third personal exhibition at the Galerie du Marais, which literally and figuratively presents a”fruity and floral” ensemble of new works on linen and paper.

But the star of the triple opening was undoubtedly the Paulin Paulin Paulin exhibition. Never before published creations by Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) produced in limited edition by Paulin, Paulin, Paulin dialogue with works by contemporary artists such as Mike Bouchet, César, John De Andrea, Tara Donovan, Elmgreen & Dragset, Laurent Grasso, Candida Höfer, KAWS, Bertrand Lavier, Heinz Mack, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Jesús Rafael Soto, Xavier Veilhan. When some have introduced Paulin’s creations into their work, others have developed pieces with free formal correspondences or evoking Paulin’s universe.

Three good reasons to go to 76, rue de Turenne, before December 19th.
