Vernissage Pier Paolo Calzolari – “Another”
For his first exhibition at the Kamel Mennour gallery, Pier Paolo Calzolari invests both addresses: a collection of historical works in the space of rue St André des arts, while the artist inaugurates the new space of rue du Pont de Lodi with largely recent works.
Pier Paolo Calzolari, an emblematic figure of contemporary Italian art and an actor in the Arte Povera movement, has been developing since the 1960s an atypical work based on recurring materials: tobacco leaf, salt, fire, frost and lead.
A double good news celebrated last Thursday by a back-to-school cocktail, where artists and close to the gallery met.
