Vernissage M/M (Paris) – C’est Wouf !
After their anniversary book published in October 2012 compiling 20 years of graphic creations (the photos of the launch here: http://www.saywho.fr/mondanites/2722/lancement-du-livre-m-m-paris-de-m-a-m/), the Michael Amzalag/Mathias Augustyniak duo unveils a series of works in volume with the exhibition “C’est Wouf”. Around his central character, a small pixelized dog of the same name, we find emblematic pieces (Paravent, 2001), never exhibited (Left/Right Hemisphere, 2007) or specially produced for the exhibition (Pouf (C’est Wouf!), 2013). A pretty (parenthesis) to the essential 2D creators, who have not ceased to mark the world of graphic arts for now 20 + 1 years. To discover until May 18, at the Air de Paris gallery.
