Vernissage Jérôme Revon – Pop Up
As part of the Festival Photo Saint-Germain des Pres, the Catherine Houard gallery invites us from November 6 to December 7, 2013 to live a “photographic adventure” with the latest works of photographer and director Jérôme Revon. The vernissage, followed by a dinner, brought together personalities from the small screen and contemporary art lovers around the works of this great figure of French television.
Jérôme Revon’s installations, halfway between painting and photography, are unique prints on metallic paper, glued under Plexiglas and made from a cutting/assembling system. In the same vein as its “splits” (tears) of city pieces (New York, Paris, London, Venice), this exhibition called “Pop Up” gives pride of place to colour and artistic experimentation.
Reflections of our time with its omnipresent screens, Jérôme Revon’s dreamlike pieces invite us to travel to the heart of a reinvented reality. And we like that!
