Vernissage Cartier “Joaillier des Arts”
When the Cartier Foundation first met the Cartier House, it gave rise to the exhibition “Cartier Joaillier des Arts”. Through the singular gaze of four contemporary artists, Alessandro Mendini, Beatriz Milhazes, Takeshi Kitano and David Lynch, precious stones become creative media, thus merging luxury and art in unexpected ways.And since a surprising exhibition must have a vernissage that is just as surprising, the guests had the honour of being guided through this dreamlike universe by David Lynch himself, also author of the scenography… A bewitching and intoxicating evening, where even the champagne bubbles were stamped Cartier. So chic.
