After organizing in spring 2011 the exhibition “Graffiti New York 80’s”, which revisited the beginnings of street art and its founders, the Jérôme de Noirmont Gallery presents the new works of FUTURA 2000, one of the greatest figures of the movement. A pioneer who exhibits his urban frescoes, painted on the ground and bulging in haste, strong, singular, almost as much as his dishevelled romantic baroudeur look. From the wall to the canvas, there is only one step. And from the gallery to the Baron too. The Baron where the after party was held and where Pedro Winter, Dee Nasty, Uncle O and Solo turned heads until dawn. It is neither Fafi nor Azzedine Alaïa who will say the opposite… The proof.
