Pedro Almodóvar, Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore’s Sensational Appearance at Venice Film Festival

As expected, the red carpet on Tuesday was quite a hit. The reason? The presentation of ‘The Room Next Door’, Pedro Alomdóvar’s latest and most intimate work. The film, which marks the Spanish director’s first feature film in English, is not for the faint-hearted, as it tackles difficult subjects such as euthanasia and the desire to end one’s life quite straightforwardly. The story mainly revolves around Martha and Ingrid, played by the sublime actresses Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore. Both shone on the red carpet the other evening for the official presentation of the Spanish director’s film, signing autographs and taking selfies with the audience.

Tilda, as ethereal as ever, wore a refined Chanel Haute Couture dress, while Julianne opted for a full gold dress – perhaps a good omen for the Lion? Alongside the two icons were Don Pedro, who appeared in Venice wearing black sunglasses and a shocking pink suit, and cast members Alvise Rigo and Alessandro Nivola.

Overseeing the scene was Isabelle Huppert, president of the Film Festival jury. Also present were various stars such as Kasia Smutniak, Taylor Russell, Stella Maxwell, Stefano Accorsi, and Vittoria Puccini.
