Vernissage Monumenta “Eccentric(s)”

Singular or plural, Daniel Buren explodes the Grand Palais with his piece “Excentrique(s)”, a multitude of luminous discs reflecting natural light. A monumental work if ever there was one, just like the opening and the big banquet that followed. After a stroll under the green-yellow-orange-blue circles of the great Nave, all that Paris has of artists, gallery owners, and collectors met in the gardens of the Petit Palais for a sumptuous reception organized by Kamel Mennour in honour of the artist.
