Intended for a whole new generation of collectors and art lovers, the FAIR IN OFF contemporary art fair invited a selection of international artists to the Espace Commines du Marais, in parallel with the FIAC. A divergent show, which proposes a real alternative to the well-oiled mechanisms of traditional fairs: the works are for the most part unpublished, all the artists are invited and, common thread of each edition, a theme frames the whole.
Result? Attractive works accessible to the public (admission to the exhibition is free) which leaves no one on their way, and the possibility of creating a meeting between young collectors and emerging artists, far from the academic paths of contemporary high authorities.
Thus this year, Fair In Off invited 14 artists to take possession of the space’s picture rails and presented protean works that draw up in their own way an aesthetic state of the young creation market: graphic installations, luminous works, pictorial achievements…
