VAILLANT’s Creative Identity Stronger than ever with Première Danse

As a former ballerina, Alice Vaillant never hides the great impact her past has on her creative outlook. And when she unveiled Première Danse on the second day of PFW at the Lycée Victor Duruy, the influence of dance was clearer than ever. With a very complete and self-aware collection, the French stylist continues her artistic exploration around femininity and further strengthens the creative identity of VAILLANT. Calais lace is now engraved as VAILLANT’s signature, with the top and trouser sets being the brand’s staples for several seasons. But lace is also unbridled when used as a decorating ornament or as a print on the jersey shirts. Jersey shirts that are, as a matter of fact, something new at VAILLANT, as is denim, which is also being developed for the first time.. The fall-winter 23/24 proposal includes strong new pieces that demonstrate the label’s maturity: notably, monumental coats in faux-fur that are extended by oversized scarves in the same material. VAILLANT’s femininity is comfortable, glamorous and urban. Alice Vaillant’s ode to women ends with a new collaboration with Californian brand UGG in the form of 80s-style faux fur gaiters that will undoubtedly be all the rage next autumn. Première Danse, with its new Clichy it-bags and Farfalles boots establishes VAILLANT as the label to follow in 2023.

First row, we ran into Maria Bernad, Jeanne Damas, Victor Weinsanto, Stephanie Hui.
