It’s now a tradition in June, the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture parisienne opened its doors to journalists and friends in order for them to discover its fourth year students final works. Once again, this was the opportunity to meet a class of students who, knowing the school’s prestigious reputation (it notably trained Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld and Issey Miyake), will leave their mark in an increasingly competitive fashion industry. This year, Tuomas Merikoski, artistic director of Aalto, took on the role of mentor for these 29 students who presented their work (creations and sketches) in a scenography by Goliath Dyèvre. See you in the future of fashion.
