Tod’s Avant-Garde Craftsmanship

Intelligienza Artigianale, the first men’s collection by creative director Matteo Tamburini, was unveiled last week during Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The show was held at the PAC – Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea, transformed for the occasion to immerse viewers into Tod’s universe through undulating fabrics, reflective surfaces, and a live performance of artisan’s hands refining textile details. Tod’s pictures an elegant and practical Spring Summer 2025, where creative work aims to clean lines and soft tones. Design and materials interact with a focus on manual craftsmanship, thanks to linen outerwear, canvas bags, and reinterpretations of classics.

In an era that explores the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, Tod’s focuses on human creativity. Just like the very name of the collection, Intelligenza Artigianale, suggests that progress and tradition can coexist and merge, creating a future of which Tamburini gives us a glimpse. Following the return to what is tactile, the Pashmy project selects soft and light leathers and materials, bringing to the creation of outerwear such as the Bomber, the Gio Jacket, and the Shirt Jacket. The highlight of the collection? The Gommino, which was presented in a new sabot version in natural shades, while the Bubble Gommino has been redesigned with the T-bar. Several guests previewed the collection, including Matt Bomer, Paul Forman, Tananai, and Alvise Rigo.
