Rediscovering Italian Style with Tod’s at Villa Necchi Campiglio
Last Sunday, as fashion week was in full swing, Tod’s chose the magnificent Villa Necchi, built in the 1930s by architect Piero Portaluppi, as the ideal venue to host the presentation of THE ITALIAN PORTRAIT, its Fall Winter 2023 collection. Composed of pieces that cross sartorial and sportswear influences, the collection explores the fundamentals of Italian Style but emphasizes the importance of Made In Italy. As is usually the case with Tod’s, the leathers used for the collection’s accessories have been selected with particular care. At the entrance of the villa, the flashes dazzled some of the most prominent faces of today’s coolest TV shows. Luke Newton from Bridgerton, Bruno Gouery and Kevin Diaz from Emily in Paris, Nicolas Maupas from Mare Fuori and Alex Pastrana from Élite, all came to discover the work of Walter Chiapponi. Actors, talents and athletes all attended this beautiful Milanese evening, and we even ran into Guillaume de Tonquedec, Djanis Bouzyani and Olivia Valin.
