6:AM Makes its Debut at Milan Design Week with “Two-Fold Silence”
For its very first solo show, 6:AM chose a truly captivating location: the former public baths of Piscina Cozzi, a space suspended in time, abandoned for decades, yet transformed for the occasion into the perfect resonating chamber for the brand’s visionary narrative.
The exhibition, unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025, unfolds between rationality and instinct, light and shadow, shaping an immersive and dreamlike journey. It’s a continuous dialogue between technique and artistry—the beating heart of 6:AM. The name itself is a tribute to the hour when the Murano furnaces light up and raw material comes alive. On view are signature pieces like Sistema, Paysage, and Float, alongside experimental one-offs such as the 1/1/1 vase sculptures, mockups, and ritualistic objects like the Palo Santo Burner.
The big news this year: the launch of the new lighting collection ▢ [square]—a perfect balance between Bauhaus rigour and post-industrial minimalism. This refined synthesis marks a new chapter for a brand that reimagines craftsmanship through a contemporary lens and rich storytelling. Adding to the experience, a layered soundscape curated by Invernomuto—taking cues from their Black Med project—fills the space and deepens the symbolic atmosphere of this compelling creative “zero hour.”
The opening evening, held among the works displayed throughout the modernist spaces built between 1934 and 1935, gathered a crowd including many prominent figures from the worlds of architecture and design. Our Say Who team spotted, among others: India Mahdavi, Hannes Peer, Massimiliano Locatelli, Giuliano Andrea Dell’Uva, Marco Balich, Sophie Dries, Andrea Mancuso, Massimo Giorgetti, Adam Sanderson, Rich Ross, Francesca Bellettini and Bartolomeo Rongone.
