The Work of Anna Eva Bergman Disclosed in Thomas Schlesser’s New Book
As director of the Hartung-Bergman Foundation, it was Thomas Schlesser’s duty to share his great passion for Anna Eva Bergman with the public. Thus, he dedicated his latest book to the Franco-Norwegian painter and published it with Gallimard. The woman who married – not once but twice – the painter Hans Hartung, shares with the artist a passion for the Nordic landscapes, which she has documented and interpreted with mastery. To talk about her and her work, the author invited the journalist Frédéric Taddéi to organize a conference. An event attended by many personalities of the art world. We met the former Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres and the writer and journalist Louise Ebel.
