The Istituto Marangoni Inaugurates its New Campus on the 16th Arrondissement
At the end of 2024, the prestigious Istituto Marangoni moved from its premises in the 8th arrondissement to its new home at 15 rue Boissière, in the heart of the 16th arrondissement. With this strategic location, in a nineteenth-century Haussmann building close to some of Paris’s major cultural institutions, Istituto Marangoni Paris reaffirms its commitment to excellence. More spacious, contemporary and implanted in a district synonymous with fashion and luxury, the campus is designed to foster an inspiring and immersive learning experience, directly linked to the heart of the industry. Blending tradition and modernity, Istituto Marangoni embodies the very essence of the capital: a subtle dialogue between past and future. On the one hand, a historic building that bears witness to the timeless elegance of Parisian heritage. In contrast, a resolutely contemporary building blends into the ensemble, creating harmony between the two eras. The orangery, located at the heart of these two buildings, symbolises this link between tradition and innovation. Last month, the Istituto welcomed the famous influencer Léna Mahfouf, who came to share her journey as a French content creator in the global fashion industry. Students were able to learn more about her business experience and get valuable insights and tips.
On March 18th, to celebrate the official inauguration of the campus, the Istituto put the work of its students in the spotlight. In partnership with Symrise, the 10 best student designers were invited to present their collections, each accompanied by a fragrance created in collaboration with professional perfumers. The designs were underscored by a selection of videos and photoshoots produced by the styling and creative direction students, in partnership with prestigious brands such as Cartier and Schiaparelli. After Olivier Rousteing and Giambattista Valli, the duo Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, founders of Coperni, are the School Mentors for the 2024-2025 academic year. Thanks to their cutting-edge and visionary approach, they will be accompanying the fashion design and creative direction students for the creation of a unique project.
During these exceptional talks and the new campus inauguration, we met Valérie Berdah-Levy, Director of Istituto Marangoni France and UK, Aline Resplandes, Patricia Gloria Contreras, Dominique Busso, Pascal Mourier, Godfrey Deeny, Caterina Lo Mascolo Minthe, and Nicolas Dureau.
