The Fondation Pernod Ricard Teams Up with DCA for the First Edition of the “Nouveau Programme”
The Pernod Ricard Foundation is joining forces with DCA (the French national network of contemporary art centres) to launch the first edition of the Nouveau Programme, while pursuing its long-standing partnership with the Centre Pompidou.
For the inaugural edition of the Nouveau Programme, which has been designed as an evolution of its historic Prize, the Fondation has teamed up with DCA to support three artists selected by guest curator Liberty Adrien: Saodat Ismailova, Alexandre Khondji and Hélène Yamba-Guimbi. To further enhance the visibility of their work, the Fondation will co-produce a solo exhibition for each artist in collaboration with several art centres within the DCA network. In addition, each artist’s work will enter the collections of the Centre Pompidou / MNAM through a donation from the Fondation. Tailored professional support will also be provided to each of the three artists.
Brought together around an installation by Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann, accompanied by a DJ set by Claire Marie Astruc, we met Benoît Gabariaud, Pascal Scuotto, Inès Degommier, Maud Le Roux Olu, Onyedika Chuke and Liberty Adrien, among others.
