The Debut of Victor-Hart’s Tailored Workwear

Via Tertulliano, Milan

Entitled Anatomy of Void, Victor-Hart’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection marks the brand’s debut at Milan Fashion Week Men’s. The work by founder and creative director Victor Reginald Bob Abbey-Hart is a clear, measured statement of intent. It begins with an exercise in subtraction, interpreting emptiness as a generative force – a space in which form gains meaning once excess is stripped away. What emerges is a vision of essential luxury, built on materials, functionality and rigorous design thinking. At the heart of the collection is denim, stripped of its everyday connotations and transformed into an architectural element, developed through a collaboration with specialist textile company Haseller Textile. Through washes, abrasions and structural treatments, the fabric gains depth and solidity, becoming a narrative surface. The chosen palette – clay-like browns, dusty neutrals and worn indigo – evokes time, movement and labour. The dialogue between workwear and tailoring is the collection’s key interpretative lens, shaping silhouettes that are relaxed yet controlled. Coveralls and work jackets are refined with sartorial details, while oversized trousers are designed to be reversible. Supported by Afro Fashion Association, the non-profit platform active between Italy and sub-Saharan Africa, the show precisely defined the brand’s identity: a contemporary, socially conscious approach to fashion, measured not only by intention but also by durability.
