160 years that the dome of the Bazaar of the Town Hall enchants the Parisians, thanks to its architecture and the selection of new, unusual or quite simply essential products that it shelters. On this occasion, on September 13, its facade was illuminated with sound and light to blow out its 160 candles. Created in 1856 by François Xavier Ruel, the department store invited the whole city to a musical anniversary, after having proposed them to discover the history of this mythical address all around the Town Hall.
To put this evening in sound, Pedro Winter, great master of the French electro scene and boss of the Ed Banger Records label, selected the techno artist Jacques. Live from the balcony, he built an ephemeral drum set, chasing the elements of his instrument through the shelves of the BHV. The evening then continued at Perchoir, the now famous bar overlooking the Town Hall.
