The Award Ceremony of the Maisons Pariente Prize at Amélie du Chalard gallery

Galerie Amélie, Paris

Reflecting the family’s passion for the arts, nurtured over several generations, each of the group’s hotels is designed to evoke a unique identity and a refined artistic universe. Issued from the family’s private collection or selected by Amélie du Chalard, in charge of each establishment’s artistic curation, the works presented by Maisons Pariente forge the identity of each hotel. To mark its 5th anniversary, the group is launching a new artistic competition this year: the Maisons Pariente Prize. For this inaugural edition, candidates will be required to imagine an original work aimed at “dressing a wall” with a fresco, regardless of the medium, on the theme: “From real journeys to imaginary voyages: how does reality shape our dreams?”’. Composed of 8 leading figures, the jury gathers architect Charles Zana, Amélie du Chalard, founder of the Amélie Maison d’Art gallery, Michèle Dard, director of the Camondo school, Julia Rouzaud, founder of Goodmoods, Isabelle Dubern, co-founder of The Invisible Collection, Isis Colombe-Combréas, co-founder of MilK Decoration, Kimberley Cohen and Leslie Kouhana.

Unveiled on Thursday, June 12th, the prizewinners are: Thomas Noui, Clément Rouvier and the duo Ludmila Vatine and Léo Nataf. While the four will receive financial compensation, the first will also have the honour of creating a fresco for one of the Maisons Parente establishments, benefit from visibility on the Goodmoods partner website, and have their portrait featured in an edition of MilK Magazine.
