The Award Ceremony for the 2024 Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris
Every year, the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris honor the most innovative creators in the fields of design, fashion and artistic professions. For this 2024 edition, the presidents of the juries for each of these categories are Constance Guisset, Stéphane Ashpool and Chloé Nègre respectively. This year also sees the arrival of a new award, the Prix Accessoires Bijoux, created in partnership with Francéclat, the professional economic development committee for the jewellery and goldsmithing industries.
Eight prize winners were announced, each taking home the sum of 18,000 euros as well as guaranteed visibility through media partners – a great springboard for these young creators. For the design category, the prizes went to Wendy Andreu for her self-taught work made of recycled materials, and to Marlène Huissoud for her experimental bio-design. Stéphane Ashpool rewarded Lucille Thièvre for her sensual, feminine and inclusive garments, and Mossi Traoré for his bold designs that pay tribute to everyday heroes. Philéo Landowski’s shoes also won over the jury, as did Kitesy Martin’s jewellery, made from recycled materials. In the artistic professions category, the prizes went to Antonin Mongin for his work on hair, and to Tony Jouanneau and his Atelier Sumbiosis, which focuses on eco-design and symbiosis in the living world.
During the awards ceremony, we met Constance Guisset, Stéphane Ashpool, Chloé Nègre, Nicolas Bonnet-Oulaldj and many other artists and guests.
