The 46 St Paul Gallery Inaugurates its Space in Saint Paul de Vence
There is one town in France that artists have always favored: Saint Paul de Vence. Among the great painters amazed by its vibrant colors were Picasso, Miró, Braque and Matisse. Now, Annabelle Audren is inaugurating 46 St Paul Gallery, a 100 square meters space located in the heart of the village. Its programme focuses on plastic and poetic research inspired by the great artistic movements of the 20th century, such as abstraction, minimalism, Support/Surfaces and color field. The inaugural exhibition features a dialogue between paintings and design objects, especially with works by ceramist Olivia Cognet, who brings a touch of contemporary design to the whole.
At the opening, we met Soo Kyoung Lee, Alice Magne, Guillaume Moschini, Olivia Cognet, Liselott Johnsson and François Blanc.
