The 40th Hyères Festival: Rising Talents Revealed
The 40th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères celebrated four decades of creativity this year. From October 16th to 18th, 2025, the Villa Noailles hosted this anniversary edition, once again spotlighting a new generation of creative talent from around the world.
Organized since 1986 by the Villa Noailles, the festival has established itself as a major cultural event and a true platform for emerging designers. Over the years, it has revealed leading figures in contemporary fashion such as Viktor & Rolf, Marine Serre, and Anthony Vaccarello. This year, once again, the festival unveiled the winners of its three competitions — fashion, photography, and accessories.
Among the highlights of this edition was the Grand Prix du Jury – Fashion, awarded to Swiss-Chilean designer Lucas Emilio Brunner for his collection À bout de souffle, which captivated the jury. The panel was chaired by prominent figures including Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Julien Dossena, Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren, Christelle Kocher, Alexandre Mattiussi, Pelagia Kolotouros, and Louis-Gabriel Nouchi.
Adrien Michel received the le19M Métiers d’Art Prize for his collection Outdoors Encounters, while Layla Al Tawaya was awarded the Atelier des Matières Prize for Perfected Perfecto — both prizes presented by Chanel. Swiss designer Noah Almonte won the SUPIMA Prize for his collection Replicants, and Youssef Zogheib received the Public Prize of the City of Hyères for his collection Gravesend.
In the photography category, the 7L Grand Prize was awarded to Noémie Ninot (France), while Gabriel Mrabi received the American Vintage Photography Prize, and Julie Joubert earned a special mention. The Public Prize of the City of Hyères went to Yama Ndiaye.
In accessories, Amaury Darras received the Grand Prix du Jury for his craftsmanship in woodwork and his collection Essences. The Hermès Fashion Accessories Prize went to Luisa Olivera, and the Public Prize of the City of Hyères was awarded to Alyssa Cartaut for her collection The Cushion Issue.
After four days of shows, exhibitions, and encounters, this 40th edition of the Hyères Festival concluded in style — celebrating once again the energy, audacity, and diversity of a new wave of international creative talent. The exhibitions of the finalists and all installations from the 40th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères remain open to the public at the Villa Noailles until January 11th, 2026.
