The 22nd Sidaction Dinner at the Pavillon Vendôme Wraps Up Fashion Week in Style
The 22nd Sidaction dinner at the Pavillon Vendôme, the must-attend event rounding off Paris Fashion Week, lived up to its reputation. Fabien Ferré, the youngest chef to be awarded 3 stars in the Michelin Guide and the Executive Chef of La Table du Castellet, a restaurant located in the Var region of France, designed the menu for this gala dinner. The evening was also an opportunity to raise awareness about the disease because unfortunately, the fight is still far from over. In 2023, 630,000 people died of AIDS and 1.3 million people were infected with HIV.
The evening saw the unveiling of the new visual identity of the Sidaction dinner, entrusted to the creative studio Les Graphiquants, as well as a series of noteworthy speeches by keynote speakers: Professor Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, president of Sidaction and winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine, Line Renaud, vice-president of Sidaction, Jean Paul Gaultier, ambassador for Sidaction, and Bruno Pavlovsky, president of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Thanks to this annual convergence of the fashion, cultural and journalistic communities, Sidaction can further strengthen its activities to finance scientific and medical research, HIV prevention programmes and organisations helping people living with HIV in France and abroad. Since 2003, this Fashion Dinner has raised over twelve million euros.
During this evening when the fashion industry opened its heart and soul, we crossed paths with Hunter Schafer, Dara Allen, Jim Jarmusch, Babeth Djian, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Jeanne Friot, Willy Chavarria, Kelly Rutherford, and Guillaume Diop, to name but a few.
