The 21st Annual Dinner of The Friends of Jeu de Paume

Jeu de Paume, Paris

After its 20th-anniversary edition last year, the dinner of the Friends of Jeu de Paume gathers one more time directors of institutions, collectors and patrons around an exceptional dinner table, laid over at the very heart of the museum. During the cocktail reception, guests had the opportunity to discover the new exhibition “Moving Landscapes”, alongside the director of Jeu de Paume Quentin Bajac. Curated by Jeanne Mercier in collaboration with screenwriter Loo Hui Phang, the exhibition marks the second edition of the Jeu de Paume Festival and invites us to explore the evolution of the contemporary image in relationship to the environment. Through the works of 15 artists, “Moving Landscapes” creates a new and collective narrative on topical issues concerning the notions of migration, territory, and landscape. A dive into the heart of nature that guests could experience in the intimate context of this privileged dinner in celebration of philanthropy and photography.

For each table, Fabien Joly had designed stunning Brutalist floral arrangements echoing the scenic landscapes.

Chanel, patron of the Jeu de Paume, kindly gifted a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle, Eau de Parfum to each guest.

We had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Andelman, Paula Aisemberg, Christophe Wiesner, Chris Dercon, Emma Lavigne, Anna Planas, Cécile Fakhoury, and Florence Bourgeois.
