The 10th Anniversary of the Bourse Révélations EMERIGE
Back in 2014, Emerige launched the “Bourse Révélations” with the aim of supporting young artists on the French scene by giving exposure to their work and encouraging its distribution. The 10th edition of this pioneering programme saw the birth of a whole generation of Révélations: 10 prize-winners, 10 partner galleries and over a hundred artists, whose work was presented to professionals and contemporary art enthusiasts. In the span of 10 years, many of these emerging artists have found their way into galleries and private collections, becoming active figures in the contemporary art scene.
It was a tough choice for the jury, composed of Nathalie Obadia, head of the eponymous gallery and partner of this anniversary edition, Paula Aisemberg, Emerige’s director of artistic projects, Gaël Charbau, the exhibition’s curator, and Laurent Dumas, Emerige’s chairman. The 12 nominees of this anniversary edition were: Mathilde Albouy, Ismaël Bazri, Jules Bourbon, Émilie Caie, Juliet Casella, Morgane Ely, Frederik Exner, Na Liu, Johanna Mirabel, Hugo Ruyant, Moïse Togo, Thaïs Zaki Tembo.
