Thanks for Nothing invites Emeka Ogboh
Thanks for Nothing just celebrated its first anniversary. One year ago, Bathsheba Attali, Blanche de Lestrange, Anaïs de Senneville, Marine Van Schoonbeek and Charlotte von Stotzingen officially launched their initiative at the Eugène-Delacroix Museum: a platform mixing the art world and philanthropy. This week, the founders of the initiative invited friends and supporters to an artistic/charity evening, “Thanks for Everything,” held at Le Perchoir on the roof of the BHV Marais. The programming of the evening was entrusted to the Nigerian-born Berlin-based artist Emeka Ogboh, in collaboration with Imane Farès gallery. The artist, whose work has been presented at the Venice Biennale and at Documenta, made a name for himself with his sound installations and gourmet works (he also manned the turntables later in the evening). Chef Chloé Charles concocted a choice dinner for the guests, which included Chantal Crousel, Marie-Ann Yemsi, Boris Bergmann and Laurent Le Bon.
