Tatiana Wolska Wins the Drawing Now 2024 Prize
This Wednesday, March 20th, marked the opening of the 17th Drawing Now Art Fair, a salon exclusively devoted to contemporary drawing, created in 2007. Held at Carreau du Temple, in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement, the fair highlights both emerging and established artists whose work explores this artistic discipline, an often overlooked yet as rich and inventive as any other. The inaugural evening of the fair, which runs from March 21st to 24th, also saw the announcement of the Drawing Now 2024 prize winner, Tatiana Wolska. As the winner of this 13th édition of the prize, the Polish artist – currently based in Brussels and represented by the Irène Laub Gallery – will receive financial support for the production of an exhibition at Drawing Lab, as well as for the publication of a monograph. Her multidisciplinary work is best known for its organic and fluid forms, which are also featured in the General sector of the fair.
On the opening night of Drawing Now Art Fair, we met the winner, Tatiana Wolska, alongside gallery owner Irène Laub and Carine Tissot, Director of the fair.
