A taste of Cannes in Paris with the Madame Figaro “Dîner du Cinéma”
Anyone walking by the Automobile Club de France last night would certainly have had the joy of seeing, in the early hours of the evening, a stream of glamorous silhouettes heading towards the Place de la Concorde building. As insiders know, the magazine Madame Figaro gave it now famous “Dîner du Cinéma”, a way for everyone to bring together the best of French cinema before the whirlwind Cannes Film Festival begins in just one month. Among the silhouettes passed under the flashes of photographers, it was impossible to miss Marion Cotillard’s perfectly coiffed blonde bob cut and sparkling Isabel Marant dress. The young Camélia Jordana, César 2018 for Most Promising Actress for “Le Brio”, also asserted herself as a style icon in a Gucci dress. Inside, the guests of this “Cannes in Paris” dinner in partnership with the Chopard, with the support of Renault and with a production by Albane Cleret, first passed by the large terrace for a cocktail at sunset with a breathtaking view. Then, at nightfall, it is at the round tables named after iconic films that we meet the faces of Léa Seydoux and Agnès Varda, visibly accomplices, the mystical Isabelle Adjani or Arnaud Valois.
