“We’re in the final!” Whether you were in Place de la République, in Montmartre or somewhere in the 16th arrondissement last night, here is a cry of joy you most probably haven’t missed aroun 10pm. Still, there was one place where theWorld Cup semi-final frenzy (and, a few days earlier, the quarter-final against Uruguay) was the strongest, namely La Démesure sur Seine in the 12th arrondissement. In this open-air space, Coca-Cola (the only brand partner of FIFA World Cup and FFF) invited their friends to support “Les Bleus” and share the emotions of these victories. On the outdoor sofas, we share a moment with Norman, Axelle Laffont, Amaury Leveaux, Nicolas Simoes or Sylvain Wiltord. Nobody can take their eyes off of the big screens, and everybody vibrates to the rhythm of the soccer ball. As one toasts to the health of Les Bleus, one enjoys a Coke Mix cocktail. The iconic Coca-Cola red is now mixed with white and blue… This was surely the get-together we needed before the July 15 final…
