Supima Design Lab celebrates its second edition in Paris
Supima, the organization that promotes high quality American cotton, launched last year the Supima Design Lab, a collaborative platform with the young talents of tomorrow. Its launch coincided with the tenth anniversary of the Supima Design Competition, which brings together a handful of young designers from the best American fashion schools each year at New York Fashion Week. Used to presenting the work of its finalists on the sidelines of Paris Fashion Week, this time Supima celebrated the second edition of the Supima Design Lab at the Hôtel de Talleyrand. On this occasion, six international designers (Botter, Guy Laroche, Lutz Huelle, Maison Chateigner, Martin Grant and Rahul Mishra) were invited to show their creations made exclusively with Supima fabrics. The duo of photographers Tania & Vincent as well as artist Ardien Vescovi also presented an original scenography. The event unveiled the work of the 2019 Hyères Festival winners along with the 2019 Supima Design Competition finalists (won by Gina Zinan Guo).
