« STILL HERE : Moments in isolation »: Mafalda Millies and Roya Sachs sign their book in Paris
Since March 2020, Roya Sachs and Mafalda Millies, with the complicity of Matthias Kliefoth and Elizabeth Edelman, have asked personalities from the worlds of art and culture to submit a still life work alongside a text telling their experience of lockdown. Over the course of several months, they put together a body of images and texts which has now resulted in ‘STILL HERE: Moments in Isolation’. This superb 228-page coffee table book is a true immersion in the intimate lives of artists like Laure Prouvost, Wolfgang Tillmans, Marcel Dzama and many other creative minds. To celebrate the book’s release, the two authors held a joyous book signing at the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme. The evening was accompanied by an exhibition by Antoine Wagner, whose work is also featured in the book. The event was followed by a cocktail and a private dinner – a perfect opportunity to discover the hotel’s new restaurant, Café Jeanne…
