Stéfère “Power of Woman Panel” Celebrates Women Empowerment with Nadia Acimi & Jade Oukid from the film SIRAT (2025 Prix du Jury)

On the occasion of the 78ᵉ edition of the Cannes International Film Festival, the creative director, designer and CEO of the STÉFÈRE house Corina Larpin brought together inspiring women for the very first edition of the “STÉFÈRE POWER OF WOMEN” International Panel, in association with FORBES France. The panel was moderated by Dominique Busso, the CEO and editor-in-chief of FORBES France magazine. Kicking off the event, Corina Larpin shared her unique journey as a woman entrepreneur between Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong and Geneva, recounting the choices and challenges that have shaped her career. An intimate and powerful speech, which set the tone for a vibrant and deeply moving conversation.

For this first edition, inspiring international personalities travelled from all over the world from Hong Kong, Rio, Los Angeles and Paris, to take part in this exceptional panel on female empowerment. Each of them brought a singular voice, a bold discourse, a contemporary and innovative vision of the role of women in society. They shared their experiences, their convictions and their hopes to inspire a new generation of women, with strength, sincerity and a deep sense of sisterhood.

Among them was producer Nadia Acimi, co-creator of the film Sirat with director Oliver Laxe, which won the 2025 Prix du Jury in Cannes. A few hours later, Jade Oukid, revealed in SIRAT with her very first lead role, walked up the steps of the Palais, adorned with creations from the Serpent Collection by STÉFÈRE. These iconic pieces resonate perfectly with the film’s themes of transformation, resilience and rebirth. A message so strong that it triggered a standing ovation lasting over six minutes at the Cannes premiere. Other speakers included Olympic champion Romane Dicko, a true embodiment of power and resilience, and Brazilian actress, singer and entrepreneur Anttónia, muse of the Pierre Cardin fashion Maison and followed by over 3.6 million fans worldwide.
