Stefano Gallici Stages an Introspective Road Trip for Ann Demeulemeester

PARIS

Melancholic, dark, somewhat grungy and resolutely sexy—here’s how Stefano Gallici sees a collection embodying that inner journey we all have experienced at some point in our lives. To the delight of the coolest Parisians, the artistic director of Ann Demeulemeester presented his Fall-Winter 25/26 collection last Saturday, March 6th. With C.O.T.A. by The Cult as the soundtrack, models made their way down the catwalk, like lost travellers whose outfits echoed the inner turmoil they were going through. Mixing leather, deconstructed suits, blouses and silk pieces, the silhouettes of ‘ROAD TO NEVER’ take layering to a whole new level, while keeping a certain sense of balance. Cowboy-style hats, fur accessories and laces dropping to the floor round off the looks, as if added last minute, sourced by the models during a diversion to the flea market on their way to the catwalk. Whoever said that you need to get lost to find yourself was quite right, and Gallici proved that in style.

On the front row, we crossed paths with Tyrone Dylan Susman, Joan Smalls, Lyas, Nikita Vlassenko, Julia Cumming, and Jazzelle Zanaughtti.
