Sony Music’s Creative Live Session #8 ignites the YOYO

It is now a must for music lovers. The Creative Live Session of Sony Music Entertainment France celebrated this Thursday at the YOYO its eighth edition with a showcase concocted for the greatest pleasure of its aficionados. Leading the crowd with their soft pop and dreamlike universe, the young duo Part-Time Friends (label Un Plan Simple) opened the ball with “Here We Are”, the track that made their success on digital music platforms. Then it was Peter Peter (Arista)’s turn with “Loving Game”, a mix of melancholic pop melodies and dancing electronic arrangements. Julien Doré (Columbia) then made a wind of poetry blow on the underground stage of the YOYO with “Le Lac”, his new tube filled with sunshine, before taking us to the beaches of Beirut. Finally, it is to the vibrant Jain, also from Columbia label, that it came back to close an evening of pure musical emulsion. The performer of “Makeba”, just crowned Best Female Artist at the 2017 Victoires de la musique, set the stage on fire with her unique energy, drawn from pop, folk and reggae influences. A festival-like evening that puts French talent back at the centre of international musical creation.
