Sonia Rykiel Celebrates Art and Literature in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
It was at the beginning of the 20th century that a handful of artists, led by Jacques Prévert, invented a literary game: the cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse in English). Behind such a striking name, lies a mischievous game where participants co-construct a sentence, only that each one brings a piece to it without revealing their part to the others until the end of the game. Inspired by this idea, the fashion brand invited a community of journalists and influencers for a literary and musical performance hosted by Luna Picoli Truffaut and Barbara Carlotti. Sensual, disturbing and poetic narratives were intertwined over this unusual literary tea time held at the salons of L’hôtel, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. We met Clara Benador, Natasha Andrews, Roland Herlory and Stéphane Wargnier.
